"Ma Ma"

Finally, today, 8/18/08. I sat jack in his sit-n-play, he threw a fit and held his arms out to me and said, "Ma Ma, Ma Ma, Ma Ma" Yes I had to pick him up then. Yeah, I have the cutest offspring.

Beach Day

Family day at the beach. We had a blast. Today was Jack's first time at the beach, Brian and Dad were beach bums and played in the sand all day. Big Brian is still crying about his sunburn. Hmmm, he forgot sunblock. Little Brian is enjoying his golden brown tan after using 50,000 SPF. Jack hung out, went for a floaty ride, ate some sand, and napped a bit.

Days like this come so little, it seems. Whenever we all have a day off together, the weather isn't cooperating, there is a family event; busy, busy, busy... I am thankful for such a great day. I love my three men!

Sometimes we need a reminder

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

Wood Spoon

Jack prefers a wood spoon over his toys. Look at that face, love him.
Yes, I know he has red eyes, I left this picture the way it was because he is a little devil child now, he is crawling now and this is Jack crawling to get into the plant he likes to play with. PUNK!
Now this is my little angel, trying to act like he is all innocent

Dinner is sometimes boring, I guess...

Ahhh baby Jack is mommy boring you with sweet potatoes?
